Why We Love This Deal

Here, you'll get the best of both worlds: a unique and quiet stay, akin to a Niagara-on-the-Lake inn, but still within a 15-minute walk from the Falls and action of Clifton Hill. As one Travelzoo member puts it, “it is rare to find an old luxury hotel in the middle of Niagara Falls.”

Travelzoo members get an overnight stay with breakfast and bubbly for $219, midweek (usually $318). And on weekends, we pay $296–$307 (usually $431–$502), saving 31%–39% on package pricing.

Location was great and friendly staff. The one thing that was not appreciated was a tourist tax that was applied. In the past we have said that

The door to our room rattled.....used kleenex to firm it up. The pillows were too firm. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very quiet!

We chose this hotel as it was billed as a quaint boutique hotel “akin to Niagara on the Lake”. We looked forward to a cozy stay, and planned to spend our anniversary evening enjoying the 1904 wine bar and dinner at the on-site Flour Mill restaurants ( the reviews and photos looked amazing). Unfortunately after a long day of walking and sight seeing, we returned to the hotel only then to find out that both the wine bar and the dinning room were not open . In spite of all the signage, we had not read the fine print to know both places were closed on Tuesdays. We ended up sitting out in the vacant patio with drinks from the local convenience store and takeout food, looking out at the vacant parking lots that surround the hotel. Not the ambiance I was looking forward to. We certainly didn’t get the glasses of sparkling wine included in the travelzoo package. Actually, aside from a couple espresso pods in the room, there wasn’t even coffee available the next morning. Just very disappointed that the lovely services shown on the hotel website were not available during our stay , and that the overall feel of the place was not as quaint as it was portrayed..
