Hotel Had construction going, so it was a bit messy. Breakfast was supposed to be "Made to Order", instead it was a buffet, and receptionists wouldn't care when I told her. Breakfast food selection was very limited and pre-prepared eggs were of bad quality like chewing on rubber. Same for Dinner food quality at their restaurant - food quality was subpar.

This was our second time at this hotel. The space and room layouts are great. It would have been nice to know that the hotel lobby was under construction though. Breakfast was quite noisy at times with banging and construction noise. Generally the deal we received was good value. Great location!

The check in was quick, check out was about 15 mins. There was only 1 staff and she was dealing with a lady exchanging. There was also a gentleman who appeared to be the manager just walking around and seeing a line up of people and not helped at all! Poor customer service. The layout of the room is hard to maneuver and the air conditioning didn’t work well.

The hotel is decent and the price was on par with other locations. Our room was huge, but the shower was tiny, the AC ran nonstop and couldn't cool the room, so was just a lot of noise, the door frame to the bathroom was falling off, the kitchen could not keep up to the demand of the breakfast, so although we were some of the first people there, there wasn't much food. On their own, it's just a bunch of small, rather insignificant things, but when they all add up, it definitely takes a bit out of the experience. I would expect more for the brand.

The room was spacious but dated and not well equipped i.e. no outlets by the nightstands, no outlet by the makeup mirror- air conditioning unit was very old and LOUD; dirupted our sleep the entire stay! The vouchers for free breakfast and drinks were not usable since there tables were ALWAYS occupied, no seating to be had, very busy;therefore we had to go out to eat which was an out of pocket expense on top of the expensive rate for the subpar quality of hotel. This Travelzoo voucher wasn’t exceptional by any means other than free self parking and 15% off dining, the free breakfast and drinks voucher was already a standard offer the HOTEL provides for ALL their guests. The 15% voucher was also not useful as the table at the time we want to eat were not available for use any of the 3 days of my stay

We were so pleasantly surprised by the size of our standard king suite. It was very clean, well appointed, wonderful view on the 9th floor.
The complimentary breakfasts were outstanding and the complimentary happy hour was exceptional.
The location is perfect for exploring Old Montreal and the Port.

My recent stay on November 11th was disappointing at best. I had fond memories of staying this hotel prior to COVID and this visit did not live up to expectations. I have photos of the room and it was filthy and extremely banged up and out dated. The lampshade was stained and torn, water drips down the wall of the master bedroom, a thick layer of dust directly above our bed on the shelf with the photos, etc. I brought my concerns to the front desk and they assured us someone from housekeeping would respond. They didn't. So we returned to the desk and the agent said he forgot our room number but would now send someone. I had to ask another agent a few hours later. While the dust was eventually removed, it was painful trying to get assistance. Another disappointment was the "Happy Hour." While we appreciated the courtesy beverages, the server was rude and appeared to be over capacity. After our complimentary drinks were done, we inquired as to whether there was discounted pricing on additional cocktails given it is a happy hour. He said no "you got your free drinks." I let him know that during a happy hour, there are often food or drink deals, discounted offers, etc. He said "it's happy hour because you get free drinks and people on the street that come in don't." We still paid a generous tip and left, but felt like the behaviour wasn't warranted and that the question was valid. Just disappointed across the board.

The experience was good overall. However, we had some concerns during the stay which were not adequately addressed.
During our sleep time on both nights, we were bothered and disturbed by the tub (jacuzzi or whatever the system was in the tub) that went off on its own causing a lot of scare and noise for us. It really affected our sleep on both nights which eventually impacted our day trips in and around the city as we did not get adequate sound sleep.
Booking and staying at such a reputed Hilton property and still having to go through that kind of experience was least expected. The front desk while checkout just said a lame “sorry” and their response “we will ask the maintenance to fix it” was super casual and non professional as per industry and Hilton standards. It seemed they were aware of the issue beforehand.
We expected a satisfactory resolution or a better grievance redressal of some kind but it seemed the staff was not bothered at all. No sympathy or empathy towards their guests. Like, our sleep was impacted on both nights due to a faulty tub.
Also, not to forget the concierge during the evening shift was kind of greedy and creepy. He walked in to the room on the first night of our stay and was adamant in making us book a sight seeing tour through him. He won’t leave the room easily and kept on convincing us to make a advance payment or give us our names. Also, he was adamant about asking for our personal information which he said was needed by front desk and also pretended or may actually was chatting to some person called “James” via his walkie talkie that there is some personal information required for the guests immediately. I had to walk him out of the room and told him whatever so called information is needed tell your front desk to connect with us in the morning. There can’t be anything so urgent that you didn’t know about us while checking in and that you would need at around 10 pm in the night by sending a concierge who just walks in to the room doing a formality question – May I walk in? and the next second he is already inside the room. We do not expect this from a hotel having such high standards and brand name.
Kindly fix this as this experience did cause us harassment and unnecessary pain to our otherwise nice vacation.

The room was fine. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great. A funny story- we thought the air conditioning was extremely loud. Just before we checked out under some examination we determined the loud noise wasn’t the AC but the vent fan on the microwave oven. It must of been on for the entire time because we had not used it.

When we arrived, no one to great us. A huge line was waiting for plates. Once we got them, there was very little food left in the buffet. No fruits. Two pieces of bread. No more yogurts. No more coffee. Two bus boys (they were doing their best, very polite) for the huge dining room. No place to sit. Extremely dirty on the floors.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel. Our suite was spacious, comfortable and clean, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Free parking was included in the deal. Underground parking was VERY tight for our SUV so once we were parked we left the car until our departure. Hotel is within walking distance to old Montreal, Chinatown, the old Port, a Metro station, shopping and many many restaurants. Great cooked to order breakfast including eggs or omelets, bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast, bagels croissants and pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal coffee and juices. Evening reception with cocktails, tortillas and salsa, chips, veggies and dip was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Bathroom was enormous with a large air bubbler tub, however shower was about the size of a telephone booth (2×2). Full sized refrigerator with freezer. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in a great location and very convenient to navigate the city from. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our front door and bathroom door were very difficult to open and close as they weren’t sitting correctly on their hinges. Sofa couch was hard to sit on as the pillows kept slipping forward. Furniture was awkwardly placed making it difficult to walk around the bed without hitting your knees. The room itself was dated.

We had a great stay in the king room with a fireplace. The hotel was in a great location close to the subway and near many shops and restaurants. The staff was fantastic and happy to help. The included breakfast was delicious with options of made to order eggs, bacon, hash browns, fruit, bagels and much more. The two hour cocktail included two drinks and snacks of nachos, veggies salsa and ranch. The room itself was comfortable, the only complaints would be the dishwasher was not bolted under the counter so trying to close it to use it was hard and the fireplace has not been well kept so when turned on it smelled horribly of melting plastic and set off the alarm. Once turned off it was fine and we just opted not to use it again. Stay overall was fantastic
