The staff are professional and so positive it really stood out to us. My husband brought his racing car and it needed to be parked by valet. They thankfully had a fella there that was ok to drive the car and my husband comfortable with handing over his keys !! The food the servers the front desk staff were very very good compared to other hotels I have been to. Overall the staff were exceptional 5 or 6 stars!!⭐️

The high tea was really good . Primarily because our waiter Gerrick was super nice. As soon as a table with a view came available he moved us over.

On our first night there our bathtub filled with feces from the room upstairs. Luckily we caught it in time before it overflowed. We were then moved to an upgraded suite and the air conditioning didn’t work. The sweet maintenance guy Luc did his best to get it working. We finally had some air conditioning around 1 in the morning. The next night the AC stopped working again but by this point I just wanted to go home so didn’t bother calling maintenance. We were travelling with a small dog so didn’t want any more disruptions. It has been a dream of mine since I was a small child to stay at the Chateau Laurier but it ended up being a nightmare.

Check-in wasn’t a positive experience as they said that there was a mistake and travelzoo booked me for Sept 7th. Provided email confirmation and was told they didn’t honour third party reservations and I had to call travelzoo to sort out the issue even though everything was prepaid and I have an existing reservation.
