After a poor start (we had to wait at front door before being let in) and lask of heat in the room, things improved (although we were never offered the chance of an upgraded room)
Other Comments
The heating system was an additional fan to be plugged into the wall, because the heaters in the rooms were not efficient. Once we met some staff we were familiar with we were happier and the location is always appreciated

The mattress! Let’s face it, the bed makes it or breaks it. And this mattress breaks it! It was so hard and noisy and impossible to have a decent sleep on it. A good mattress cover would help a lot that’s for sure.

Excellent location only a half block from Stanley Park trails and close to their brewhouse and Denman restaurants and shops. Clean, good quality linens. Judging by the old-style elevator (a door to open to get to elevator door) the building was older but very well maintained.

Three night stay. The apartment was spacious Underground parking (half price with travel zoo) was a great. Car was safe as we walked all over The location, close to both Stanley Park and the bustle of the city was perfect. The staff was excellent

The suite was quite large. The beds were not the most comfortable but good enough. The staff didn't seem to have time to interact with us, so not particularly friendly but we didn't need any help from them. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Being next to Stanley Park was perfect for us.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Location is perfect and could walk almost everywhere. The hotel is basic. The bed was old and creaky and the mattress was worn out. The room itself lacked plug ins for electronics. We moved lamps in to the bedroom from other areas of the suite as the lamps had additional plug ins on them. However, room was very clean and kitchenette was handy.
