Why We Love This Hotel
- Set on a sprawling property in Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore region, FlowEdge is just a 45-minute drive from Halifax
- The domes are thoughtfully spaced out for plenty of privacy, though don’t be surprised if a deer or two stops by for a visit
- Each dome comes with a wood-fired cedar hot tub, a spacious deck and a dedicated spot for a campfire
- There’s plenty to explore nearby, including the Carrolls Corner Mastodon Trail, which is open year-round for hiking and biking; the trail’s lookout offers views of the National Gypsum open-pit mine, where mastodon remains were discovered
- Also nearby is Musquodoboit Valley Provincial Park and Dollar Lake Provincial Park, with a large lake and beach to enjoy
