The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet on the floor.

I will be glad to learn that upgrades have been done as I found the large stain on the carpet to be unsettling.

The bed and the server in the restaurant was helpful. The location was close to the ferry.
Other Comments
The hotel was very old with almost an institutional feel. The room smelled like smoke although we were assured the was no smoking allowed in the hotel. The building needs a lot of repair everywhere and the room was not clean. The bright spots were the server in the restaurant was very helpful and the room had a comfortable bed. Not near the hotel the Rodd in Charlottetown was on our stay there a few days ago.

Location was good.

Hotel did not have our booking. Staff were more interested in trying to figure out why..(once I showed them hard copy of confirmation). Then getting us settled in another room. Finally Manager moved us to a queen suite. We wanted a King room. Not pressed with snafu between hotel and Travelzoo!

Person who worked nights was not welcoming, she lacked the ability to make the checking in a personal experience - I felt like I could have used a kiosk and had the same experience. The gentleman who checked us out was the complete opposite, he was warm, engaging and personable, please keep him!

I was expecting a Rodd Resort and, instead got an old, tired, run down hotel. Very disappointed. My room had double beds when I thought I had booked queens. The toilet was so wobbly it almost came off the wall!
