My mistake in booking only one night when I wanted two... So had to use the 50 dollar diking credit for breakfast, which was not very good, so not great values for the money at all

The room, breakfast and friendliness of staff all were exemplary. People booking should be aware that the smart hotel is located in a gradually transitioning neighborhood, and that there are buildings and residences nearby that reflect that fact in sharp contrast.

Great rooms. I think they are still working on some upgrades such as making the blinds electric instead of manual. Best hotel shampoo/conditioner I’ve ever experienced. Chique decor. Friendly staff. Restaurant is nice but I think for the price they should be able to cater to your preferences more. They don’t have GF bread and they could only cook eggs three ways. Minor things but this would set them apart from fancier more established hotels.

For a hotel still doing a “soft opening” everything was great! The bartender in the lobby bar informed us that the hotel was only opened 3 weeks. While the main dining area on the second floor wasn’t opened yet we had no issue eating in the lobby bar for breakfast. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive and so friendly. The bar tenders at night were fabulous as well, from recommended food and drinks to just having a friendly chat with us. The rooms were small but lovely and clean, and the towels in the bathrooms were like clouds! Also for a hotel in downtown Toronto it was so quiet! We will definitely be back to this hotel!

New clean hotel.

Only one towel provided in the room. They must have given us a handicap room because the controls were at seat level and hard to operate. Blinds were a nightmare to close and open. They put a hold on my credit card for the room that was already paid for. When I called the next day I was told it could be 3 business days and that would depend on my bank. This is inaccurate and I found the customer service attendant condescending and rude.
