Why We Love This Deal
Set along the Ottawa River on a massive, forested estate, this hotel is known as the world’s largest log cabin. For nearly 100 years, it's welcomed guests with countless opportunities to unwind, explore and enjoy the great outdoors. Typically, a midweek overnight stay costs between $415–$455 a night. As Travelzoo members, we stay for $289 including resort perks. Some weekends are available, and we save on those stays, too.

What You Need to Know
- Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival
- Advance reservations are recommended for spa and dining
- Price based on up to two guests sharing a room; additional guests are an extra $50 plus tax per night
- Up to two children ages 17 and under may stay free of charge when using existing bedding; do not include children in the total number of guests when booking
- Children ages 0-5 eat free from the children's menu
- The resort fee covers use of the fitness center, squash, sauna, jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools, digital daily newspaper and magazines, and 5 km of nature walk trails on the hotel property
- Self-parking is complimentary, and valet parking is $40 plus tax per day, including in and out privileges

Welcoming staff right from arrival. We were given a renovated room with a nice view. Property is beautiful and lots to see and walk trails.
We were able to purchase tickets for Parc Omega directly with the hotel.

A friend and I stayed in a room with 2 double beds. Very comfortable. Enjoyed a massage at the Spa (Travelzoo special). Enjoyed our dining credits and the late checkout. Would have liked to stay 2 nights!

The fireplace in the main lobby as you enter the hotel was spectacular

The room had a very old smell to it. The towels were thread bare with strings hanging off them. The shower(s) sound like a construction site. The shower in our friend’s room next door woke us up because it was so loud. Our room only had one guest robe as opposed to two like our friends had.

Beautiful lodge, but if you go low season there's not much to do there. They don't even turn on the lights at night outside. Minimal staff, there was one server at the restaurant so expect longer waits.

It was wonderful. The overwhelming consensus was that one night was not enough! The ambiance was warm with people of all ages engaging, chatting and having a good time. One person named that you can't help but slow down and relax from the moment you arrive. All staff was very attentive and helpful.
The only thing that would have made our experience better is having the meal credit applicable to breakfast, or better still, have breakfast included in the deal.

We booked two rooms so dinner credit should indicate 2 x $20 ie $40 and at checkout only $20 was credited. This needs to be corrected accordingly.

The Chateau was wonderful. I went there on mother's day with my adult son. We had the mother's day brunch... While it was splendid, and we enjoyed ourselves, $300 for 2 with tax and tip was just too much. They could have included a cocktail or flowers for the mothers, or something, but those were extra... so I wouldn't go back for that... but the stay was lovely, and we had lots of fun biking the trails, swimming and playing lawn games.

The Chateau is expensive but spectacular in every way.a wonderful lobby bar, exquisite grounds and plenty.of activities for all seasons. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The Inn owns a pet ambassador named Victor who greets you at the door. Great get away for couples of all ages, families, and groups of any size.
