$9999—Cunard Iceland & Norway fly-cruise w/Edinburgh Tattoo

Monica Goh
Cunard’s Queen Victoria and Edinburgh Tattoo season paired in one thoughtfully paced holiday in 2027

Why We Love This Deal

This 22-night holiday connects Scotland’s human grandeur with Norway and Iceland’s natural grandeur. Edinburgh changes during Tattoo season, and this journey gives that atmosphere room. With two nights in the city first, that extra time matters. It begins with the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, staged against Edinburgh Castle, where the castle becomes part of the experience. Pipes, drums, uniforms and night air make it more than entertainment. It feels rooted in place, sound and ritual. The Tattoo sets the tone before the voyage opens north. Then Cunard’s Queen Victoria carries that tradition onward. The ship is part of the experience, not just transport between ports. Its composed, old-world style suits a route shaped by ceremony, sea and scale. Norway brings the fjords at Olden and Molde. Iceland adds volcanic coastlines, northern ports and an overnight in Reykjavík. You begin with people creating grandeur, then sail into landscapes that feel grand all on their own. This fly-cruise-stay package includes Edinburgh and London stays, flights and transfers, keeping the journey seamless from castle walls to wild coastlines.

Starting at $9999 per person, our research found this popular Imagine Cruising package was not available for less elsewhere. The value is in how much it handles for you. Flights, 4-star stays, transfers, Tattoo tickets and a 16-night Cunard voyage are bundled into one trip.

Itinerary highlights

You begin in Edinburgh with a two-night stay during Tattoo season, where medieval streets, historic pubs and Edinburgh Castle set the stage for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, bringing military precision, pipes and performance to life against the city’s dramatic skyline.

In London, a two-night stay allows time to move between royal landmarks, theatre districts and riverside neighbourhoods before boarding in Southampton for your Cunard voyage.

Sailing north aboard Cunard, the landscape shifts dramatically in Olden, where steep fjord walls, waterfalls and snow-dusted peaks create one of Norway’s most striking settings.

Through Molde, island-studded coastline and mountain panoramas unfold beneath long northern light, giving the town its reputation as one of Norway’s most scenic coastal regions.

Arriving in Akureyri, Iceland’s north reveals volcanic landscapes, geothermal scenery and colourful harbourfront streets, before scenic cruising through Eyjafjordur carries you between steep green mountains dropping directly into the water.

Sailing by Hrisey brings a quieter moment along Iceland’s northern coast, where isolated shorelines and seabird-filled cliffs emerge against the Arctic landscape.

In Isafjordur, remote fishing villages sit beneath towering fjords, creating a rugged atmosphere shaped by Iceland’s wild western coastline.

At Grundarfjordur, Kirkjufell mountain rises sharply beside waterfalls and lava fields, creating one of Iceland’s most recognisable landscapes.

An overnight stay in Reykjavik gives you time to experience Iceland beyond the port, from geothermal lagoons and Nordic cafés to colourful streets lit by the lingering summer evening.

In Kirkwall, ancient stone streets, Viking history and rugged Orkney coastline create a final northern stop before returning to Southampton.
