$9299—2 Cunard Queens, 7 European countries w/air & stays
Adriatic gems: Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik plus a full day of scenic cruising along the Dalmatian Coast.
Why We Love This Deal
This is Europe told in two chapters, with a different Cunard Queen for each. The 24-night holiday takes in 7 countries and 13 ports. It begins with a night in Rome before you board Queen Elizabeth for 14 nights around the Mediterranean. Valletta’s golden bastions lead into the Adriatic, through Bari, Split, Zadar and Trieste. Then comes a slow day of scenic cruising along the Dalmatian Coast and Dubrovnik’s marble lanes. Corfu, Messina and Naples, for Pompeii or Capri, close out the Med before two unhurried nights in Barcelona. Then the trip changes gear. A short flight to London puts you aboard Queen Anne, Cunard’s newest Queen, for seven nights on the Atlantic coast of Spain and France: Gijón, Bilbao, La Rochelle’s old harbour and Cherbourg. You sail in September, when the Mediterranean is still warm, the summer crowds have thinned and the northern seas feel crisp. Every connection has been taken care of. From international flights and hotel stays to both cruises and transfers. All you need to do is pack and the switch from one Queen to the next is handled for you.
This unique Ecruising 24-night holiday starts at an exclusive Travelzoo price of $9299pp. We found that even using 2027 prices, recreating this independently would cost up to $650 more.

Itinerary highlights
Rome begins the journey with a night in the Eternal City. Stay near the Colosseum and soak up ancient ruins, grand piazzas and Roman trattorias before transferring to Civitavecchia to board Queen Elizabeth.
The Knights of St John built Valletta, and its honey-coloured walls rise straight from the harbour. Visit the Grand Master’s Palace and the gilded St John’s Co-Cathedral, home to a Caravaggio masterpiece.
In Bari, wander the maze-like lanes of Bari Vecchia, where local women make orecchiette pasta by hand in their doorways. Don’t miss the Basilica of San Nicola.
Split is built around Diocletian’s Palace, a Roman emperor’s retirement home that now holds cafés, shops and homes within its ancient walls.
Zadar pairs Roman ruins with a modern twist. Listen to the waves play the Sea Organ along the waterfront and stay for one of the Adriatic’s most celebrated sunsets.
Trieste blends Italian, Austrian and Slavic influences. Explore the vast Piazza Unità d’Italia, which opens onto the sea, and linger in the grand cafés that once drew James Joyce.
The Dalmatian Coast unfolds on a full day of scenic cruising, past island-dotted waters, limestone cliffs and stone villages along one of Europe’s most beautiful coastlines.
Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, is best seen from its medieval city walls. Below, marble-paved streets lead to Baroque churches and terracotta rooftops.
Corfu combines Venetian, French and British heritage in its UNESCO-listed Old Town. Wander the arcaded Liston promenade or head out to the elegant Achilleion Palace.
Messina sits on the strait between Sicily and mainland Italy. Watch the cathedral’s astronomical clock come to life at noon, or take a day trip to hilltop Taormina.
Naples is your gateway to some of Italy’s most famous sights. Walk the ruins of Pompeii, take a boat across to Capri or eat pizza in its birthplace.
Barcelona offers two nights ashore between cruises. See Gaudí’s Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló, explore the Gothic Quarter and graze your way through La Boqueria market.
Fly to London, then transfer to Southampton to board Queen Anne, Cunard’s newest Queen, for the second voyage along the Atlantic coast of Spain and France.
Gijón shows off Spain’s green north. Stroll the old fishermen’s quarter of Cimadevilla and try Asturian cider poured from a height in a traditional sidrería.
From Getxo, it’s a short trip into Bilbao to see Frank Gehry’s titanium-clad Guggenheim Museum, then wander the Old Town’s pintxos bars.
La Rochelle guards its old harbour with medieval towers. With a 9 pm departure, there’s time for a long seafood lunch and an evening stroll along the waterfront.
Cherbourg is your gateway to Normandy. Visit the D-Day beaches or Mont-Saint-Michel, or explore the Cité de la Mer maritime museum.
Sail back into Southampton to finish the voyage, then transfer to London for your flight home to Australia.
