Itinerary highlights
Your journey begins with two nights in London, with breakfast included each morning. Wander from Westminster to the Tower of London, or browse the stalls of Borough Market before your adventure at sea begins.
A transfer takes you to the historic port of Dover (London), where Grand Princess awaits beneath the famous white cliffs. Settle into your stateroom as you sail out into the English Channel.
From Zeebrugge (Bruges), head inland to fairytale Bruges, where cobbled lanes and medieval canals wind past gabled guildhalls. Sample Belgian chocolate and waffles in the Markt, overlooked by the soaring Belfry.
Arriving at IJmuiden (Amsterdam), you’re within easy reach of Amsterdam’s famous canal rings. Cruise past narrow merchant houses, visit the Rijksmuseum’s Dutch masters or simply relax at a canal-side café.
At Skagen, Denmark’s northernmost town, two seas collide off the sandy tip of Grenen. Its golden light has drawn painters for generations, and its yellow cottages remain as charming as ever.
Colourful Nyhavn harbour sets the scene in Copenhagen, the Danish capital. Visit the Little Mermaid, explore royal Amalienborg Palace and enjoy the timeless magic of Tivoli Gardens.
Sunny Kristiansand is a laid-back gateway to Norway’s southern coast. Stroll its grid of white wooden houses in Posebyen, then relax on the sandy Bystranda city beach.
Historic Stavanger blends cobbled lanes with a striking natural setting. Explore Gamle Stavanger’s white timber houses, or take a fjord trip towards the dramatic Pulpit Rock.
Snug at the end of a fjord, the village of Nordfjordeid is famous for its Norwegian fjord horses. Its green farmland and mountain views offer a peaceful taste of rural Norway.
Spend the afternoon scenic cruising through Nordfjord (scenic cruising), where steep mountainsides rise straight from the water. Watch for waterfalls tumbling down sheer rock faces as the ship glides by.
Tucked deep inland at the head of the fjord, Skjolden sits among some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery. Nearby, the Urnes Stave Church is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed treasure from the 1100s.
Glide through the Sognefjord (scenic cruising), Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Towering cliffs, tiny farmsteads and glacial waters create unforgettable views from the deck.
Remote and windswept, Runavik in the Faroe Islands offers rugged beauty far from the crowds. Grass-roofed houses, steep green slopes and dramatic sea cliffs await.
Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, is a gateway to the land of fire and ice. Venture out to steaming geysers, thundering waterfalls and lava fields, or soak in a geothermal lagoon.
Surrounded by steep mountains in Iceland’s remote Westfjords, Ísafjördur feels like the edge of the world. Explore its colourful old town and maritime museum, or watch for seabirds along the fjord.
Crossing the Atlantic, Corner Brook welcomes you to Newfoundland’s forested west coast. Admire the views over the Bay of Islands, a beautiful stretch of fjords and inlets.
On Quebec’s rugged peninsula, Gaspe is a gateway to soaring sea cliffs and wild coastlines. Nearby, Forillon National Park offers dramatic headlands and the chance to spot seals and seabirds.
Charming Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island is Canada's birthplace. Wander its historic streets, then head out to see the island’s famous red-sand beaches.
Scattered across the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Îles-de-la-Madeleine are a string of islands with red sandstone cliffs. Long sandy beaches and colourful fishing villages make this a hidden gem.
Visit Sydney on Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island, home to Celtic music and a proud seafaring heritage. Look out for the world’s largest fiddle on the waterfront.
Historic Halifax blends maritime heritage with a lively waterfront. Visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, with its moving Titanic exhibits, or climb to the star-shaped Citadel.
On the Bay of Fundy, Saint John sits beside the world’s highest tides. See the Reversing Falls, where the powerful tide turns the river back on itself.
Finally, glide past the Manhattan skyline into New York, where two nights let you soak up the city that never sleeps. See Times Square, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty before your flight home.
