$8499—Tahiti: All-inc Ponant cruise w/air & stays next June
Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and private island experiences with flights and all-inclusive cruising
Why We Love This Deal
French Polynesia is best experienced slowly. This popular, previously sold-out holiday is the best way to do it. You’ll cruise aboard Ponant’s Le Paul Gauguin, a small ship purpose-built for these shallow lagoons. This is where it comes into its own. Its shallow draft lets you reach smaller ports, quieter anchorages and lagoons larger ships can’t access. The journey between islands becomes part of the experience. Departing in June, it falls within Tahiti’s drier season, when conditions are at their best. Each stop feels distinct, from quieter Huahine to Motu Mahana’s beachside BBQs, Bora Bora’s iconic lagoon and Moorea’s lush peaks. You’re floating in the same lagoons as Bora Bora’s overwater villas, just without staying in one place. Drinks, Wi-Fi, tips? All included. No surprise bills, just easy, seamless luxury. Your hosts onboard are Tahitian, which makes a difference. They share stories, crafts and culture throughout the journey. With just 330 guests, the atmosphere stays relaxed and personal. Nothing feels rushed. Flights, hotel stays and transfers are bundled, so everything flows from airport to lagoon. This 9-night escape is also well suited for solo travellers.
We priced this out piece by piece, and similar packages came in as high as $9660. Ours? Just $8499 per person. That’s a saving of up to $1161 for a comparable fly-cruise package.
Travelling solo? That’s where this really stands out. Cruise fares are typically based on two people, so solo travellers often pay close to double. Here, the single supplement is just $900, which is unusually low for a voyage of this calibre.

Itinerary highlights
Arrival in Papeete begins your journey with a pre-cruise hotel stay, giving you time to settle into Tahiti’s warm, tropical pace before boarding, with a further overnight stay here at the end of your cruise.
On Motu Mahana, Paul Gauguin’s private islet, you spend the day on the sand with beach set-ups, barbecues, floating bars and clear lagoon water ideal for swimming and drifting between it all.
In Bora Bora, an overnight stay allows you to experience the lagoon beyond a single visit, with time to swim or snorkel in its shallow turquoise water while Mount Otemanu rises from the centre.
Moorea continues the journey with an overnight stay, where deep bays and sharp green peaks sit close to the shoreline, creating a dramatic setting for time on the water or exploring the island further.
