This journey showcases Alaska's wilderness heart and glacier-lined coastline in one adventure

Why We Love This Deal

May catches Alaska as the season is waking up. Snow still crowns the mountains, and daylight lingers late. That gives this 12-night Princess package a particular kind of drama. It starts inland, with a Princess hosted Denali rail and wilderness lodge tour. Then comes a seven-night Crown Princess cruise through Glacier Bay and the Inside Passage. Flights, stays, select tours and transfers are included, so the journey feels considered. That land-first rhythm is what makes it special. You do not just admire Alaska from the ship. You move through its wide, untamed interior first. The Tundra Wilderness Tour takes you deeper into Denali National Park. It is prime country for moose, bears and caribou, beneath North America’s tallest peak. Then the focus shifts to the coast. Glacier Bay becomes the cruise’s natural centrepiece. Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan add gold-rush history, mountain scenery and rainforest coast. Princess Plus is included onboard, covering drinks, Wi-Fi and casual dining. There’s also bonus onboard credit and specialty dining. This is Alaska done properly, with Princess comfort from inland wilderness to coastal ice.

Starting at $8299 per person, Travelzoo members save an exclusive $500 off Ecruising’s usual prices. That brings the total saving to $939 compared with self-packaging. Book by 24 June to receive a bonus USD 400 onboard credit, 50% reduced deposit and exclusive specialty dining.

Itinerary highlights

In Anchorage, a stay at the historic Captain Cook Hotel offers views of Cook Inlet, mountain backdrops, and the relaxed atmosphere of the state's largest city.

Through Denali, the landscape opens into vast wilderness as you stay at renowned Princess Wilderness Lodges and travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, where opportunities arise to spot moose, bears, caribou, Dall sheep and North America's tallest peak.

Along the journey between lodges, scenic drives through the Alaskan interior reveal endless forests, braided rivers and mountain ranges, while the direct-to-the-wilderness rail journey to Whittier showcases some of the state's most spectacular landscapes.

From Whittier, the focus shifts from wilderness to coastline as you board Crown Princess and begin sailing through glacier-carved waterways toward the Gulf of Alaska.

At Hubbard Glacier,  towering walls of blue ice dominate the horizon as the ship navigates close to one of North America's largest tidewater glaciers.

In Glacier Bay National Park, snow-capped peaks, drifting icebergs, and abundant wildlife create one of Alaska's most extraordinary natural spectacles, with chances to spot whales, seals, bears, and bald eagles.

In Skagway, colourful false-front buildings and wooden boardwalks recall the Klondike Gold Rush, when thousands of prospectors passed through this remote frontier town.

In Juneau, dramatic mountain scenery surrounds Alaska's capital, with access to the Mendenhall Glacier, whale-watching opportunities, and wilderness experiences beyond the town itself.

Through Ketchikan, colourful waterfront buildings stand above the harbour while rich Indigenous heritage, salmon runs and dense rainforest define Alaska's southern gateway.

Arriving in Vancouver, glass towers, harbour views and mountain scenery provide a fitting finale to a journey that combines Alaska's vast interior wilderness with its glacier-lined coastline.
