A flight-inclusive summer journey through Scandinavia, Spain and France aboard Cunard’s Queen Anne

Why We Love This Deal

Most European cruises make you choose between Scandinavia and southern Europe. This 20-night Cunard voyage gives you both in one summer, with flights, a London hotel stay and transfers included. Europe feels different at this time of year. Days stretch late into the evening, waterfront cities stay lively after sunset and life moves outdoors across the continent. You’ll begin with three nights in London before boarding Queen Anne, Cunard’s newest ship, in Southampton. The route first traces the Scandinavian coastline during its brightest season. Copenhagen is a standout. Its overnight stay gives you time for Tivoli, late dinners and harbourfront drinks after the day visitors leave. Then the mood shifts. Skagen and Kristiansand bring a quieter contrast, shaped by coastline, colour and the slower rhythm of northern Europe. From there, the journey turns south towards Spain and France. La Coruña, Gijón and Getxo bring Atlantic coastlines, outdoor dining and a more relaxed summer rhythm. What makes this itinerary special is the contrast between regions. The journey starts with long, calm Nordic evenings, then pivots south toward energetic Spain and France.

Europe cruise packages can look competitive until flights, hotels and transfers are added. Our research found you can’t put this package together for less. Starting from just $6699 per person, this Cruise1st package saves up to $1256 per person.

Itinerary highlights

In London, a three-night stay allows time to explore historic landmarks, theatre districts, museums and riverside neighbourhoods before boarding in Southampton.

From Southampton, the journey begins at sea before reaching Skagen, where shifting sand dunes, rugged coastline and the meeting point of two seas shape Denmark’s northernmost town.

An overnight stay in Copenhagen gives you time to experience the city beyond the daytime pace, from Nyhavn’s colourful waterfront to canal-lined streets, cycling culture and late-evening dining.

Through Kristiansand, the Norwegian coastline introduces a quieter rhythm, where timber houses, rocky inlets and small harbours define the atmosphere.

In La Coruña, Atlantic promenades, seafood taverns and Galicia’s rugged coastline create a distinctly different feel as the voyage turns south toward Spain.

Along the Bay of Biscay in Gijón, seaside plazas, cider bars and green coastal landscapes reflect the relaxed character of northern Spain.

At Getxo, access to Bilbao opens the Basque region, where contemporary architecture, old quarter streets and a strong food culture sit beside a dramatic coastline.

From Le Havre, Normandy’s maritime history and surrounding countryside come within reach, offering a final contrast before returning to Southampton.
