Itinerary highlights

Your journey begins in Siem Reap, home to the mystique temples of Angkor. Explore the Old Market and Night Market. Sample traditional Khmer cuisine and street food. From here, embark on your seven-night all-inclusive cruise aboard the Mekong Navigator, an elegant, boutique vessel made to meander the Mekong River’s gentle waters. Enjoy the private and intimate experience with only 34 indulgent suites onboard.

Visit a local family in the charming rural village of Opopel. At Main Pagoda you’ll receive a traditional water blessing from the local monks. Sail towards Phnom Penh, where you will spend the night in port. Visit the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Delight in a wander through the gardens of the Royal Palace.

Tour Cu Lao Gieng, known as “The Mango Island”. You’ll visit a boat-building yard, a Vietnamese ancient house, an incense making workshop, and a Catholic church. Explore My An Hung where you’ll meet farming and fishing communities untouched by tourism. Interact with villagers and enjoy fresh coconut. Delight in a VOVINAM Vietnam Martial Arts performed by the teenagers of the village.

Visit the historic home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le, immortalised in The Lover in lively Sa Dec. You’ll visit the local markets then relax as you’re rowed along narrow canals of Cai Be towards Cau Xeo. See rice barges, rice husking mills and water palm thatching cottages.

Your adventure concludes in Ho Chi Minh City, where colonial architecture blends with modern Vietnam. Spend two nights exploring its vibrant streets, such as the aromatic alleys of Ben Thanh Market. Embark on a Củ Chi Tunnels tour, gaining insight into the resilience and resourcefulness of the soldiers.
