The Deal

If you have ever dreamed of becoming an aeroplane pilot, now is your chance to make it a reality with this experience from Adventure Events 001.

For £89, take the first steps towards gaining a full pilot's licence by going behind the scenes and learning the ropes with a CAA-licensed instructor.

This 4-hour experience begins with refreshments and an introduction and safety briefing, before you step into the cockpit of a 2-seater Cessna 152 (or equivalent) for a private 20-minute flying lesson.

After lunch, you'll get a guided tour of the hangars and helicopters, and learn about various aircraft types. This outing concludes with a talk on being a commercial pilot and potential career paths.

On successful completion of the lesson, you will receive a signed flight certificate that counts towards a full pilot's licence (should you wish to pursue one).

This voucher is valid for the next six months at the following sites: Beverley Airfield, East Yorkshire; Blackpool Airport, Lancashire; Wolverhampton Airport, West Midlands; Hinton Airfield, Northamptonshire.

Terms and conditions: This voucher is valid for one person and includes a 4-hour aeroplane pilot experience, including a 20-minute 1-to-1 flying lesson, lunch, guided tour, presentation and signed flight certificate. The minimum age is 16 years. Maximum weight is 15 Stone. Maximum height 6' 6". The experience will be held in groups of 8-12 people. Failure to turn up leads to forfeiture. Cancellations or changes made with 7-14 days' notice will incur a £25 fee. If you cancel with less than seven days' notice, you will lose the full cost of this experience. Spectators are welcome.
