The Deal

The 16th-century West Arms hotel has stunning views of the Berwyn Mountains in North Wales, and is home to an award-winning restaurant and a chef who has cooked for Prince Charles. Experience it yourself in an upgraded room for £99 per night for two adults.

Stay Sunday-Thursday until 31 July with this deal, which includes overnight accommodation for two, a complimentary upgrade to a Superior or Character Room, full Welsh breakfast and a 3-course dinner from the daily menu at the AA-Rosette restaurant.

Add on extra nights (Sunday-Thursday) for £69 per room, including breakfast.

Head chef Grant Williams has trained all over the world and was recently selected to appear on ITV's "Britain's Best Dish" programme. He has also cooked for Prince Charles at Lampeter in Carmarthen. As well holding an AA Rosette, the restaurant is listed in The Good Food Guide 2012.

The historic hotel overlooks North Wales' Hidden Valley and the Berwyn Mountains. There are opportunities for walking, mountain biking, pony trekking, golfing, fishing, canoeing and climbing in the area. Other nearby attractions include Snowdonia National Park, Chirk and Powys Castles, and the Llangollen and Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfalls.
