The Deal

Enjoy an overnight stay on the fringe of Snowdonia for £129 per room. This exclusive rate includes accommodation for two in a Garden View Room at the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa in Llanwddyn, with the following perks:

Following a major refurbishment in 2009, the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa is an AA 4-star property and boasts a Visit Wales 4-star award. Near the Berwyn Mountains, Lake Vyrnwy around 2 hours' drive from both Manchester and Birmingham.

The hotel features an AA-Rosette-awarded restaurant serving up fresh produce from the Vyrnwy estate, plus a cocktail bar and the informal Tavern Bar, which was renovated in March. Its contemporary menu offers locally sourced food, including shoulder of Welsh lamb wrapped in Carmarthen ham and Welsh black beef from farms in the Berwyn mountains.

The in-house spa recently received a 4-bubble rating from The Good Spa Guide. The hotel also offers discounts on local country pursuits including fly fishing, clay-pigeon shooting, bike hire, sailing, canoeing and kayaking.
