The Deal

Award-winning wine producers French Bubbles have just opened a pop-up champagne bar and shop in Covent Garden's Wellington Street for a very limited period. Travelzoo subscribers can escape the Christmas chaos with two glasses of the finest champagne, matched with two gourmet tartines, all for just £18.

This unique experience, which can also be shared with a friend, is available from 11am-11pm, six days week, until 31 January only. Usually £36, it includes:

- One tartine champagne (toasted traditional bread and gently browned pear with melted Langres cheese from the Champagne region)
- A glass of Colin Cuvée Alliance Champagne
- One charcuterie board -- choose between a selection of Corsican cured meats or a salami selection
- A glass of Furdyna Rosé Champagne

Alternatively, you can enjoy two glasses of the same champagne.

The exclusive French Bubbles range, which recently received four prestigious Decanter awards, is featured in the shop and there is also a selection of gourmet cheeses available, with experts on hand to help guide you through the basics of wine-food pairing.

Note that it is a walk-in bar and shop, so advance reservations cannot be made; please be flexible with your times. The bar may be busy and have limited availability from 6pm-8pm on weekday evenings, and on Saturdays.
