The small print

Each voucher is valid for two people and must be used in one visit. There is no limit to the number of vouchers used per table. Valid Tuesday-Thursday evenings from Tuesday, 14 June until 13 December, 2011. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased per person. The Deal

"A fantastic all-round experience" is how the Good Food Guide 2011 describes dining at Hengist restaurant in Aylesford, whilst the Michelin Guide praises the "accomplished modern cooking" and "elegantly appointed" interior.

For less than £30 per person, two people can indulge in a  6-course tasting menu and a glass of champagne each -- a fine dining experience that would usually set you back £118.

Celebrity chef Richard Phillips  -- who earned his first Michelin star before the age of 29 -- is the executive chef at Hengist. Here's what appears on his current tasting menu:

- Selection of amuse-bouches
- Duck foie gras with caramelised Belgian chicory, citrus jus and a ginger bread crouton
- Pan-fried scallops with braised oxtail potato cake, butternut squash purée and a sage and candied citrus jus or salmon and crayfish terrine with baby vegetables, avocado purée and cress salad
- Roast fillet of 32-day-hung British beef with braised ox cheek, pomme purée, glazed baby vegetables and a bordelaise jus or Barolo-poached wild sea bass with creamed cauliflower salad, buttered girolles, caper raisin dressing and a cauliflower velouté
- Selection of British cheeses
- Dark chocolate and pistachio pavé with pistachio cream and a milk chocolate sorbet or cherry soufflé with macerated cherries, black cherry ice cream and a cherry jus
- Coffee and petit fours
