The Deal
Described as "taking local food to another level", Wild Garlic Restaurant and Rooms recently made the shortlist for Food magazine's Best Restaurant in the South West 2012 award. It also holds two AA Rosettes and is listed in the Michelin Guide.
With this exclusive offer, the 6-course tasting menu and a glass of prosecco or featured seasonal cocktail is just £24.50 a head -- less than half the regular price.
Here's what's on offer with the current seasonal tasting menu:
- Wild mushroom veloute with caramelised onion and truffle oil
- Cornish scallop with a caper and raisin dressing
- Honey-roasted duck breast with pomegranate dressing
- Creamed Cerney ash and celeriac cannelloni with a Waldorf salad
- Seasonal fruit granita
- Lemongrass crème brulee
- An appletini cocktail
Wild Garlic is also offering a 2-course lunch for two people for £19, exclusively to Travelzoo subscribers.
The tasting menu offer is valid for dinner Wednesday-Friday and for lunch Thursday-Saturday until mid-August. The lunch voucher can be used Thursday-Saturday between 12pm and 2.30pm.
