This offer is for a 2-hour hands-on cooking class for £20 -- that's 56% off the regular price of £45. Harts Barn Cookery School is located in the Forest of Dean, about 25 minutes' drive from the centre of Gloucester.

Choose either of the following workshops:

Italian Pasta Making -- learn how to create pasta dough, turn it into different shapes, make sauces, fill ravioli and use a pasta machine. Take your dish home, or try at the end of the class. Runs on 4, 13 Mar; 5, 22 Apr; 10, 17 May; 2, 9 Jun; 1, 14 Jul; 7, 11 Aug

Moroccan Flavours -- watch a demonstration of how to make Harissa sauce, then learn how to make tagines, fish balls in tomato sauce, couscous, onion and parsley flat breads, chermoula carrots and Moroccan rice pudding, before sampling your dishes with a cup of mint tea. Alternatively, it is offering its A Taste of Tapas 4-hour class for £49 (regularly priced at £110). Create your own tapas before tasting them with a glass of sangria -- options include chorizo in red wine, stuffed peppers, patatas bravas and garlic shrimps, as well as tastings of Serrano ham and Spanish cheeses.
