Hidden away in a wooded hollow just beneath Dartmoor, near Okehampton, the original Lewtrenchard Manor was mentioned in the Domesday Book, but today’s elegant Jacobean house, set in its own shrub-filled gardens and surrounded by peaceful parkland, dates from the early 1600’s. Some 80% of the food cooked in the Purple Carrot is grown in the manor grounds.
How to book: Click on "Buy Now" at the top of this page to purchase your voucher(s), one for every two people dining. (Note that the private dining room can accommodate a maximum of eight diners at any one time if you wish to attend with others.)
