The Foodies Festival takes place amid the beautiful surroundings of Hove Lawns on Friday 25 May, 11am-7pm; Saturday 26 May, 11am-7pm; Sunday 27 May, 11am-6pm. A voucher costs £9 and entitles two people entry to the event on any of the three dates. Highlights include:

- Chefs' Theatre: Watch celebrity chefs cook their favourite dishes live on stage, passing on hints and tips for you to try at home. Appearing at Hove Lawns is Michelin-starred chef Matt Gillan of The Pass at South Lodge, Charita Jones -- whose restaurant, Momma Cherri's Soul Food Shack, was revamped with the help of Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay -- and David Roy, of Brighton's very own Riddle and Finns champagne and oyster bar.

- Street Food Avenue: Take a culinary tour across the globe and taste all kinds of exotic treats

- Drinks Masterclass: Have a go at mixing and tasting your favourite tipples, such as gin, rum, beer, wine and cocktails

- Speciality and local exhibitors: sample and buy ingredients from over 100 food and drink producers

- Cooking with Kids: Masterclasses for aspiring young chefs

- Great Taste Market: Featuring stallholders whose products have won a prestigious Great Taste Award in the last three years

- Restaurant Village: Tuck into a variety of dishes from around the world (at an additional cost)

- Bar Tents: Enjoy a glass of bubbly or seasonal cocktail made by expert mixologists (usual prices will be charged for drinks at the bar)
