Head to Berlin this spring with this deal from Travelwasp. A 3-night break in the city that Condé Nast Traveller calls "a monument of living history" including flights is now £159 per person. This break, which includes a stay in an upgraded room in a 4-star hotel, costs up to £250 elsewhere.
Depart from London Gatwick, London Stansted, London Luton or Liverpool from 13 April-25 June and stay at the Grand City Hotel Berlin East. Accommodation is in a Superior Room with breakfast included daily. The deal also includes a 20% discount on food and drinks at the hotel.
Departures from Bristol or Manchester are an additional £25 per person, or it's £75 per person more from Edinburgh.
The hotel is close to Alexanderplatz and the Fernsehturm, the TV tower constructed in the late 1960s by the East German government. Over 200m high, it affords views over the city. The hotel is currently hosting a series of exhibits from Berlin's excellent DDR Museum, an interactive museum on the banks of the river Spree, which charts everyday life in the former East Germany.
Book by 6 March.

Travelzoo tip: A must-see in Berlin is the East Side Gallery and Spring -- when the weather's starting to warm up -- is a perfect time to visit. This strip of the Berlin Wall stretches over 1km and the murals covering it are a tribute to freedom.
