Hotel details
The 5-star Aldemar Olympian Village is in Greece's western Peloponnese region, on the country's mainland. It's in the town of Skafidia, less than five minutes' walk from the beach. The Olympic Games first originated in this part of Greece, and many Greek Gods were said to be born here. Learn more at the Archaeological Site of Olympia, about a 35-minute drive from the hotel.
The resort is set in 350 acres of landscaped gardens, with palm, olive, and pine trees. There are four main pools (each with a bar), plus an extra thirty-six dotted around the resort. Book a relaxing treatment in the spa, work out in the gym, or play a game of tennis. Bike hire is also available if you want to explore more of the area.
All meals are included at the hotel's two main buffet-style restaurants, Sympossio and Olympia. As part of the all-inclusive package, you can dine at one of the à la carte restaurants at no extra charge (reservations are required). Choose from an Italian restaurant, a Mediterranean eatery, or a beachside seafood restaurant. After dinner, grab a drink from the main bar, and catch some evening entertainment.
Swim Up Rooms are positioned right by one of the resort's many pools, with immediate access. They come with a flat-screen TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities, beach towels, and a mini bar (extra charge). Wi-Fi is free.
