The Aminess Laurel Khalani Hotel is in Makarska, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. It's less than a minute's walk from the beach, and is backed by the Biokovo mountains. Sun beds on the beach are free of charge for hotel guests. Makarska's charming Old Town is less than 10 minutes' drive away, or a leisurely half-hour walk along the coast.
There are three outdoor swimming pools, one with a swim-up bar, and one offering healthy drinks and snacks. Or, work on your serve at the tennis courts (both clay and concrete), or join a class like Pilates, tai chi, or yoga. There's also a gym and a spa, with a heated indoor pool and a hydromassage tub.
Daily breakfast and dinner is included at the buffet restaurant, Sapori. There's also a rooftop bar and restaurant, with spectacular sunset views, which you can pay to dine at. The beach bar is also open throughout the day, with light snacks, cocktails, and live music. The evening entertainment programme consists of quizzes, dance shows, fire dance, and open-air cinema nights.
Deluxe Rooms come with a private balcony, a TV with satellite channels, a sofa bed, a coffee machine, and a mini bar. Wi-Fi is free.
