For as little as £11 per person, get a ticket for an evening of Verdi's "Requiem" and other music from the Romantic period played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

At 7:30pm on Friday, 18 January, Enrico Marconi (above) conducts the orchestra at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall for a concert in aid of the Cedar Foundation of Bulgaria, which aims to give underprivileged children access to more family-orientated facilities.

A strictly limited number of tickets are now available for half the regular price, ranging from £11 £27.50. The only extra to pay is a per-transaction fee of £1.75 online or £2.75 by phone.

About the show: "Verdi Requiem with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra" begins with Ivo Varbanov's performance of Tchaikovsky's thrilling "Piano Concerto No.1", followed by the orchestra's performance of Verdi's "Requiem".

Book by 17 January.
