Still sorting out your plans for Christmas and New Year? The River Cruise Line has cut up to £350 off the price of two festive sailings down the Rhine River.

This deal is for either a 4-night New Year voyage (departing on 30 December) for £299 per person, or a 5-night Christmas sailing (departing on 23 December) for £399 per person. Here's what's included:

• Return executive coach travel from a selection of UK pick-up points
• Return ferry crossing from Dover to Calais
• Welcome drink and party night
• Accommodation in an ensuite cabin
• All meals during the cruise and entertainment on each night

Both cruises are from Cologne (Germany) aboard MPS Horizon, with stops including UNESCO World Heritage Site Rüdesheim, Andernach (one of Germany's oldest towns) and Koblenz, where the Rhine merges with the Moselle River.

There is also an option to sail from Hull or Newcastle from £100 more per person (the price includes overnight cabin accommodation). This sale ends on 26 November.

The MPS Horizon, exclusively chartered by The River Cruise Line, has large panoramic windows and plenty of deck space to enjoy the passing scenery. There is a lounge bar, a restaurant and a sun deck. All cabins have a shower, toilet and twin beds.
