The holiday starts with a 2-night stay at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. The hotel is close to Clarke Quay and 3km from Orchard Road and Chinatown
Next up is a 2-week cruise around Asia on the luxurious Celebrity Millennium. Itinerary stops include Bangkok (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hanoi (Vietnam) and Hong Kong, where the cruise finishes. The 2013 Berlitz Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships calls the Celebrity Millennium a "family-friendly ship with a touch of class".
Following this, guests will fly to Beijing and spend three nights at the 5-star Crowne Plaza Beijing Wangfujing Hotel before the start of the 6-night China tour. The tour kicks off with an excursion to Tiananmen Square, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. The next day guests will visit the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall of China.
Guests then fly to Xiam to take in the Terracotta Warriors, the Ancient City Wall, the Muslim Quarter and the Great Mosque. Following two nights in Xiamen at the 5-star Grand Mercure Xian, guests will fly back to Beijing, where they will spend the last day seeing the Temple of Heaven, the Yonghe Monastery and taking part in a Tai Chi lesson.
