The Deal

Described by Lonely Planet as a "luxurious estate which fuses Old World splendor with North American nature," the hotel has plush suites outfitted with wood fireplaces, heated marble floors and Aveda spa products. From the comfort of your room's private balcony, contemplate sweeping vistas of the crystalline Lake Tremblant.
When hunger strikes, know that one of the only CAA 4-Diamond restaurants in a 100-kilometre radius is just downstairs. The credit is good toward delicacies such as seared scallops with saffron risotto or house-made duck magret with ginger marmalade, or one of the 5,000 bottles of wine stocked in the cellar.
"Go assuming that virtually every service you might find in a much larger deluxe hotel will be available to you -- then concentrate on the extras," writes Frommer's -- these include an outdoor infinity pool and a reading room and library.
