What is the Travel Enthusiast Hotline?
It’s a 24/7 hotline provided by Travelzoo in partnership with Allianz Partners that helps you handle travel emergencies and obstacles—medical, personal or logistical—whenever you travel. With one call, you’re connected to a team of experts who coordinate support and, if needed, link you to a trusted network of medical care providers until your situation is resolved.
Who can use it?
If you’re a Travelzoo Club Member (not on trial), you have access to the medical, travel and personal assistance services through Allianz Partners during all your trips, whether you booked through Travelzoo or not. This can be especially helpful if you have an accident, illness, or unexpected disruption. You’ll have a dedicated phone number and Group ID to reach the award-winning Allianz TravelCare® team. And you can call for help on behalf of yourself or your family that you are traveling with.
When should I call?
Call anytime you need help finding medical or dental care, have a medical issue and need translation support, lost your passport, missed a flight, or need emergency travel assistance for yourself or your family with you whenever and wherever you travel. Basically, if something goes wrong and you need expert help, you have support 24/7.
What kind of help can I expect?
You can get support like:
  • Medical assistance: referrals, appointment scheduling, prescription replacement, transportation related to emergency medical situations (e.g., helping a family member travel to your hospital bedside)
  • Travel logistics: rebooking flights, arranging accommodations, providing travel advisories, booking rental cars
  • Personal assistance: emergency fund transfers, lost baggage recovery, emergency messaging, returning forgotten items
