Transfer details: Roundtrip seaplane transfers are US$580 (approx. $805) per adult (12 years and above), US$365 (approx. $507) for children aged 2–11 years and free for infants under 2 years. My friend and I stayed for 6 nights. The staff are friendly and provide great service. The in ocean water villas could use some maintenance and updating but it's so beautiful here that those are minor concerns. The food was always really good with a variety of restaurants to select from. They were very accommodating with allergens, preferences and portion sizes. I found the serving sizes to be a little too generous and my friend and I split a few entrees to avoid waste. Totti was mainly our dining room person and he was so helpful and friendly, anticipating our needs. They offer a water aerobics class daily at 10 am. The instructor, Sumith, provided a fun, encouraging and challenging workout that we enjoyed almost every day of our stay. We were disappointed to show up for the scheduled bird feeding 10 minutes early only to find the birds had already been fed. We were given snorkel equipment to use during our stay which was one of the highlights. We would definitely return!

Great place and location. Very friendly and engaging staff, shout out to Shammu and the bar staff. They are doing some remodeling of the in ocean units and I encourage them to finish the rest. Our unit, 317, looked terrible under the pool area which you can't miss if you get in the ocean.

See Trip Advisor for my detailed review but overall the experience was magic. The house reef / outer wall was amazing and the convenience allowed us to snorkel multiple times a day. The in-ocean villas were amazing, the island is beautiful and life at Azzurro on the in-ocean villas was so amazingly relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are amazing and take care of everything you need. Would return in a heartbeat. A great combination of luxury and barefoot, laid back relaxation.

Best house reef daily snorkeling. Guides ahmad and Agil were excellent. Boat captain Raouf and assistant Salim were the best duo. Friendly staff. check-in staff Yasir, Sophie and Raaitha were great. We stayed at the in-water villa. It was spacious. The private pool was great. Our daily housekeeping person Abdulla was very nice. Provided us with everything we needed. Food was OK. Limited to Azzuro on the in-water villa area, Kuredhi bar by the pool and the main dining. The only issue we had was the return arrangement. Instead of taking the Seaplane at Angsana lagoon (where we were dropped off when we arrived), we were taken via speed boat that lost an engine after 10 min and had to return to Angsana for another speed boat. Instead of docking first, the transfer was done boat to boat in choppy water (high wind that day). The ride was 30 min in high speed to Voolumli St. Regis resort that has a Seaplane terminal. It is safer there than a transfer on floating seaplane dock.
