$119—Afternoon tea for 2 in Niagara

We went with another couple and enjoyed our time. My difficulty was with booking. I booked and paid through Travelzoo but to make reservations, they wanted my credit card again. After 3 phone calls, I finally got it worked out.

Great food and views!

Relaxing. The view was fantastic.

All staff were a delight to deal with - seating was excellent - terrific view of Cdn falls & American falls. Tea choices were amazing and the food was wonderful. We both enjoyed the time we spent at the Brock tea room. When we go back we may also stay at that hotel. Although parking there was a wee bit confusing. The deal with Travelzoo included free parking & once we figured out how all worked it was easy to use.

As noted staff were excellent, parking a wee bit confusing but included in the "deal." Hotel staff at reception were also most helpful. So enjoyed the experience.

Great experience and service. View of falls was stunning! Had no idea there was an afternoon tea experience in Niagara but now we do.

It was nice but I was expecting to have a table with a better view of the falls because I specifically asked for it when I was reserving as this was a special occasion - my 65th birthday! And I got the impression that we'd be given such a table, with a great view of the falls. After all, the main reason why we took this not-so-cheap deal was because of the scenic view of the falls while we would be having tea, as described in the promo ad but that didn't happen. We were late arriving and I'm not sure but I think they gave the tab;le reserved for us to other customers when we didn't get there on time, despite my leaving a message that we were coming and was just encountering so much traffic. But we had paid for that reservation already so if my instincts are correct and they really gave our reserved table to other patrons, I'd say that was not cool. Also, the server was polite and did his job of serving us properly but he could have been more warm and cheerful instead of appearing tired and looked like he wished we'd be done with our tea so he could stop serving already. I understand that the job of a server is tiring and energy-consuming (altho the tea room didn't have too many people when we were there) but I guess I was just wishing for a more positive, upbeat energy around me because it was a milestone biorthday for me. On the other hand, the food was great; it's the one saving glory of this experience.

Service was phenomenal - the setting and views of the falls was exceptional. The food was good, but maybe could be a tiny bit better - still delicious though. Special idea, special location.

Overall it was a good experience, good service, great view of the falls. Most of the food was very good. The scones were very disappointing, very hard, very dry. The lemon tart was tasteless. The chicken curry rice paper roll up was just not to our taste.

Nice location, very easy to find, easy parking. Could have parked all day on the validation. The reason to not go back is been there, done that😀
