While the hotel was a great location and the pools were nice, we were quite disappointed by the state of the rooms and hallways... even in the "new" West Tower, the hallways seemed very old and dirty, windows were stained and filthy, as was the carpet. Our room was okay, but also wasn't cleaned very well, bathtub was stained and one of the chairs on the balcony was cracked down the middle and unsafe to sit in. We also had some very grumpy-acting staff members who came across like they were bored/miserable and didn't like their jobs, and it just didn't give the type of "vibe" that we had hoped for or expected for what's supposed to be the best place to stay at Harrison.

It's was great. But had no wifi in the room. No staff monitoring the kids jumping and diving in indoor large pool. Kids stayed until pool closed. Very noisey

Good experience. The hotel is in need of a refresh as the rooms are looking tired and dated. Staff was a little overwhelmed one night due to being real busy. Wonderful area.

The hotel had a DJ party at the pool. We were notified less that 2 weeks before our stay. The party was from 4:30 - 10:00pm. We couldn't use the pools during this time as the music was horrible. They also closed the Copper Room due to the pool party. They changed our reservation to the cafe with the promise that it was just like the Copper Room. It wasn't even close. The food menu was limited and the choice of wines was 2 white or two red all low end. It took 45 minutes to get a drink and 1 1/2 hours for the food which was lukewarm when we got it.

It was good however our friend who also wanted to use the pools couldn’t as we were only provided 2 pool bands. He would have paid for a pool use but was told he would have had do upgrade the room to much larger.

We did enjoy the pool from 7pm to 10pm and our son loved the pool party that was going on. The lake, and walkable amenities were beautiful, and only wish our experience with the hotel had been positive.

We stayed from August 24–25 for just one night, hoping to check out the resort as a potential replacement for our family’s annual trip to Great Wolf Lodge in the U.S. We wanted to support Canadian destinations — but this experience has ensured we won’t be back. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 p.m. We arrived at 4:15, waited over an hour in line, and then another 2.5 hours before our room was finally ready at 6:50 p.m. During that entire wait, no staff member offered to take our luggage, suggest we use our food voucher, or even point us toward the pool to make things easier. Instead, my family — including our 8-year-old — sat in the crowded lobby during dinner time. When I raised this with the manager on duty, he assured me that our room would be comped due to the unacceptable delays. I explained it was a Travelzoo voucher, and he told me he’d “figure it out.” The next morning at checkout, no one knew anything about this promise. Staff kindly offered to cover breakfast, but we were already leaving early to catch a ferry, so that was of no help. I was told someone would follow up with me — but no one ever did. At best, this shows a shocking lack of communication between staff and management. At worst, it feels like promises were made just to get me out of the manager’s hair with no intention of following through. We had hoped Harrison Hot Springs could become our new family tradition, but instead we left frustrated, disappointed, and misled. I would not recommend this resort based on our experience.

Good stay over all. Food and drink were of a good standard. Indoor pools were our favourites. Resort staff need to make an effort to control kids jumping in the indoor pool, which is meant to be a quiet space.
