Domestic flight transfers from Male to the resort are 50% off the regular cost with this offer; international flights to Male are not included. To reach the resort, fly to Male International Airport (MLE); from there, it's a 55-minute flight to Kooddoo Island.

Voucher cancellation and refund policy: Within 14 days of purchasing your voucher(s), Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you do not have an active reservation with the hotel. Once you book your dates, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel's cancellation or rescheduling policy and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. If you have made a reservation, you must cancel your reservation directly with the hotel prior to refunding your voucher. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account.” After 14 days, your voucher becomes nonrefundable. Hotel cancellation policy: Once you’ve made your reservation, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel’s policy. Cancellations must be made with the hotel at least 14 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty. If you cancel or change your booking in violation of the hotel's policy, you may be subject to additional fees or voucher forfeiture.

Occupancy rules: Price based on up to 2 guests per room. Guests must be at least 18 years of age. Maximum occupancy is 2.

Domestic airport transfers: Roundtrip domestic flight transfers are an additional US$250 (approx. $345) per guest (reg. US$500; approx. $690). A fuel surcharge of US$60.84 (approx. $85) per person for domestic flights is chargeable and will be paid directly to the hotel. Domestic flights are bookable through the resort. Please provide your full name as shown on your passport, international arrival and departure flight number, and dates at least 14 days before arrival.

Additional hotel-specific charges (payable directly to the hotel): Hotel taxes and fees are included in the voucher price. A daily US$12 green tax per person, per day is not included and will be paid directly to the hotel.

Our 5 days at Mercure Kooddoo were exceptional! This is an extremely well run resort with comfortable villas with everything you could need, incredibly efficient and pleasant staff and great food & beverage operations! we would return in a heartbeat & highly tecommemd this resort! Spectacular snorkeling & water sports in crystal clear bathtub warm ocean and a stunningly sandy beach plus beautiful pool! Top shelf stay!!

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo was closed on the dates I booked and we were transferred to Pullman Maldives resort. However, we had to stay in a land villa for 3 days out of 6, and then got moved to an overwater villa for the remaining 3 days. This was disappointing as I specifically paid for the overwater villa. Swimming was also not great compared with Kooddoo due to a strong tide current.

The staff at spa, restaurants, cleaning, dive center, mini bar, pool bars have been fantastic. And the overwater pool villa is in better condition than the beach villa and the same as when we stayed in 2022.

We booked the overwater sunset villa with pool over 7 months ago, and confirmed our booking for Dec 10 to Dec 19. We were emailed a week before our trip that they had overbooked our room type and we had to stay 5 nights in another room type. It was either the overwater villa with no pool with credit difference or eventually they offered a beach villa with a pool due to a last minute cancelled 2 days out from our trip with no credit and 60 min couples massage. We emailed back and forth and it was frustrating because we booked to early and could not understand why we were bumped. The only reason that makes sense to us is that they probably bumped us for non travel partner vouchers. This was so incredibly stressful and we didn’t know what to do as we were days out from our trip. Our trip was ruined before we even started. We felt we had no options, especially since we were already mid travel when we’re still trying to get them to give us our original room. We travelled for 32 hours and it was beyond disappointing. This was our second visit and we had also had a travel zoo voucher the first time. We had such a great time that we decided to purchase it again then travel zoo to celebrate our 25 year together anniversary. We have a direct example of a previous stay. The first five nights in the beach villa was awful, the room is rundown, dark and dingy and several times we found ants and crawling bugs in the bed. Overall the resort has changed a lot since we were here in 2022. There have been significant changes to the events and food offerings, and it feels more like. 3 star than 4 star. The only positive on this trip has been the staff (not management as we have not seen or talked to any). We were moved to the original room we booked on Monday Dec 15 for the last 4 nights. We finally feel like we are on the trip had booked and it was for less than half our trip. I’m so incredibly disappointed and feel like I ruined our anniversary as it was my idea to come back here. We deeply regret this choice and coming back here and would never recommend or come back. This experience has made us reconsider using travel partner vouchers as we felt like we were treated less than and will likely not be renewing our membership next year. We hope others don’t have the same experience as us.

The hospitality at this resort is the epitome to which all resorts should aspire. I was worried about buffet style dining but the variety, the flavors and the efforts to accommodate other tastes was inspirational. The villas were superb. Diving great but snorkeling on house reef is almost as good. The staff is the resorts greatest asset. I wish I could remember all names but Ibrahim, Shifa, Jo ann and I apologize for not remembering other names, Many of the chefs were helpful and tallented.

The staff are the Best! Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. Beautiful. location, lovely comfortable rooms with spectacular access to the reef.

One downside was that the jet skies we enjoyed last time were not available due to maintenance. Plus the dive center was understaffed. From 7 in 2024 to 2 in 2025.
