About the Destination
Flights are not included with this deal. To reach Almare, A Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres, fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN); from there, it's a 30-minute drive to the Renaissance Cancun Resort and Marina at Puerto Cancun. At the Renaissance Marina, guests are escorted to Almare’s private vessel for a 20-minute boat ride to the resort’s dock. Airport transfers are not included in this offer—ground transportation from the airport to the marina must be booked separately or arranged through the hotel’s in-house transfer partner at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange transportation. The hotel only covers maritime transportation from Cancun to Isla Mujeres.

Staff was wonderful. We upgraded our room when we got here. We had to wait but it was fine. They were very helpful. The hotel is smallish but lovely. It has my big 3 - soft pillows, comfortable bed and big bath towels! We will definitely come back!

The hotel was beautiful, but I didn't research the restaurants very well. There are only two that are open for dinner. That can get old on a longer stay. There were small things that ran perfectly. My phone in the room didn't work until the 3rd day and the 2nd time asking. When Claudia taking care of us at the beach it was perfect. When someone else helped they weren't as responsive. It took a good 20 minutes to get a drink at the bar when there were only about 6 people there. We got drinks quicker running to the other bar and back. We were told there would be a private transfer and we ended up having to take a ferry on their schedule for both ways.

The resort is great depending on what you want. Location is good as you are only 10 min car ride from either side of the island. The resort itself is beautifyl.

What a fabulous resort. The stay was amazing and we will be back. Everyone was so helpful and professional. The resort boat/vessel was not working, which was very disappointing. We really wanted to avoid taking the ferry. But besides that, the whole stay was fantastic.

We really enjoyed our time at Almare. The food was amazing. Especially at Boca (dinner and breakfast) along with the beachside service and food truck.
Drinks at Boca for dinner were better than most craft cocktails back at home!!
Service was excellent all around.
Almare is a great place to unwind in a beautiful atmosphere.
