The MGM Grand towers over the Strip with five towers stretching 30 stories high. One of the largest hotels in the world, the CAA 4-Diamond property has over 5,000 rooms with nine different lodging options.

All accommodations are decorated with modern décor, glass surfaces and marble bathrooms. Upgraded options include suites with luxuries like living rooms, whirlpool bathtubs, dining rooms and private terraces. Occupying the hotel’s top two floors are Skylofts with separate check-in, butler service, airport transfers and preferred seating at top restaurants and the property’s Cirque du Soleil show, "KÀ." Families and health-conscious travellers can reserve Stay Well rooms with antimicrobial surfaces, hypoallergenic linens, air-purification systems, vitamin-C showers and dawn-simulating alarm clocks.

With more than 20 restaurants on site, guests can choose between budget-friendly buffets and family options or splurge on cuisine prepared by celebrity chefs like Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. Concerts and boxing matches are held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena while major entertainers like Calvin Harris and Tiesto also perform regularly at the resort. The Grand Pool Complex is one of the world’s largest pool decks with five pools, three whirlpools, a lazy river and a topless sunbathing area called the “Wet Republic Ultra Pool.” After dark, guests can dance until dawn at one of the nightclubs or try to win their fortune at the huge casino.

It was nice to have a monorail stop so close. Rented a car here very easily

The rooms in the west wing are a bit awkward. Might be good for one person or couple. For family could probably find better in Las Vegas

Nothing, really...maybe the vicinity of other hotels and casinos that we basically were forced to move to.

Where do I start...the attendant at the registration counter showed obvious annoyance when I asked her a couple of questions about how the billing was done. The room was fine, for the most part but, it was warm and clammy, and the thermostat could not be adjusted to make it any better. The prices on everything were outrageous, even for Vegas expensive standards. The buffet, the gambling tables, the restaurants even the snack store, everything was extremely high. Impossible to deal with unless u have that kind of money. Wanted to stay at the MGM since I never had before, but never again, not even at a discount.

Ridiculous resort fees for essentially no extra amenities. Smoke smell from casino permeated non-smoking floors.

The hotel is fabulous and the location is great. The room, however, was just so ordinary. Nothing special at all - kinda gloomy; did not want to spend too much time in the room (West Wing)

Location to main tourist area. Easy access from highway and ample parking
Other Comments
There was some ambiguity initially over an additional resort fee at checkout, but the total was exactly as quoted in Travel Zoo booking.
