Enjoy the hotel ..it’s handy visiting wineries in the area
Disappointed with my expectation of not having issues in our room …the sink when we first used it was not draining…the pipes were plugged…told front desk as we left for the day…when we got back it didn’t drain any better…again we told them ..said was a temporary fix …we told them it was not draining..how was it a temporary fix…at checkout they said it would be fixed after we left….issue it’s very inconvenient when you only sink in the bathroom isn’t draining properly and you stayed two nights…not really what l expected for Hilton Garden Inn…not sure why the housekeeping staff didn’t notice this when cleaning the bathroom.

I travelled with a girlfriend. We both needed a break. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool was a bit on the small side. The lobby was very warm and welcoming. The room was nice enough. Just could have used a little better vacuuming (dried cat food on carpet) I was happy we got a Travelzoo deal. I would not want to pay full price for this hotel. Staff were all very friendly. Free parking was great and welcome champagne and charcuterie was a very nice touch.

It’s generally good, except that we were unlucky and the swimming pool was full of children that were screaming and diving, splashing water, but the parents nearby were not supervising them. They were just as loud as their children; they brought alcohol and chips onto the pool deck as well. It was so noisy that others dare not go in.

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at the Hilton Garden Inn. As always, it was a great experience. For the first time, we used the pool, which provided a welcome break from the cold weather outside. The staff, including the restaurant servers, were all friendly and attentive. This is our go-to spot in Niagara-on-the-Lake and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Breakfast was terrific, good value. We have stayed at the location before and noticed this times the rooms are getting abit tired. Also we are a Hilton member and have been able to upgrade to jacuzzi suite at no charge but this stay there was going to be a charge. Disappointed in that regard.

The hotel was great and the stay was very comfortable. The only feedback I'd give was regarding the staff being a little more proactive in terms of honouring the deal. For example this deal included breakfast and a bottle of wine. But at check-in the staff didn't call it out and didn't even send the bottle to the room and didn't provide us with the breakfast coupons. We had to remind them multiple times, and finally had to take the bottle at checkout. It's just these little things that make the stay special which were a bit missing. Overall, the stay was pleasant. We were a group of 20, and had fun.

The food portions at the restaurant were intentionally rationed (very little), and overly charged for what you get. The heater in the room blew cold air. The hot tub had cold water. Maintenance was notified for both issues. There were, however, no courtesies offered (e.g. credits, compensations, upgrades, additional bottle of wine) for the inconveniences.

While it isn't situated in the downtown area of NOTL it is close enough that you can drive in and enjoy that area. It is also close to an outlet mall, the Welland canal, and the highway which can take you to St. Catharines or Niagara Falls in just minutes.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Location was great for us as we wanted proximity to Niagara College. Pool and hot tub were both clean which is hard to find in Niagara with all the hockey teams there all the time. A bottle of wine and breakfast were included which was also very nice.

This hotel was very comfortable, starting with a really pleasant reception and dining area. We ate both breakfast and dinner in this area, because the food was good, and the atmosphere inviting. Normally we would prowl the town for fun options.
Our bedroom provided us with everything we needed for an overnight stay, such as a microwave, and fridge, two comfortable chairs for watching TV, really great beds and pillows! We joked that we might move in permanently.

The Hilton Gardens is conveniently located near an outlet mall. Unfortunately it’s not right in town, so is not a walkable area.

Once again my only complaint is their bedside lamps have the switch too far up to reach easily. They need to have maintenance move the switch down closer to the bed so I needn’t have to get out of bed to turn the light off at night. As I am handicapped it is dangerous at night trying to find the switch 8n the dark.

The toilet in our room 314 was rather low. Also we did tell them at check out that there was no more body lotion, we only went to use it b4 leaving after the hot tub and noticed it then....apart from that just perfect.

Easy to get to but a bit far from NOTL which we knew when we booked. We got stuck in elevator. One had already been out of commission for a while so this was not fun. Staff is very friendly. Shower is beautiful but badly designed. You can’t help but get a cold shower and get your hair wet when you get it started.

Everything about our stay was very positive. Check-in was welcoming and without any problems. We appreciated the bag of dog goodies and bottle of wine that were part of the promotion. Our request for a ground floor room was fulfilled with a lovely, spacious and attractively decorated room overlooking a nice wooded area at the back of the property so it was also very quiet. The room amenities were very good quality. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast buffet the next morning. The location was convenient both for arrival and for our various destinations in the area. The only reason I gave Location 4 stars is because the physical location is basically just off the QEW in a sort of hotel row/light industrial commercial area. If you're thinking picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, that's a 15/20 minute drive away. This did NOT bother us, we know the area well and all the spots we wanted to revisit, NotL, Niagara Falls, the Niagara Parkway, are within very easy driving distance. We would certainly stay in this hotel again.
