The Westin Indianapolis’ prime downtown location and streamlined style make it a go-to destination for business travelers and families alike. Built in 1989, the resort underwent a $14 million renovation in 2014, transforming its rooms, fitness center, pool and business center.
The newly renovated rooms have a contemporary feel with sleek furnishings and a neutral color palette, as well as signature Westin Heavenly Beds and large decorative stone vanities. Internet access is available for an additional fee.
Take advantage of the state-of-the-art 24-hour fitness center, which has TVs and headphones on all cardio machines; jogging maps are also available at the concierge desk. Or guests can take a dip in the heated indoor pool and whirlpool.
The property’s Shula’s Steakhouse, named after the former NFL coach, is a popular choice for a hearty dinner or lunch and drinks. There is also a casual café on-site as well as a Starbucks.
Connected to Circle Centre mall and the Indianapolis Convention Center via skywalk, the hotel is within walking distance of many of the city’s most popular attractions. The Indiana State Capitol building and Indiana Repertory Theatre are across the street. A 10-minute walk takes guests to Lucas Oil Stadium, while the Indianapolis Zoo is about a 20-minute walk away.
