I realize we used a "TravelZoo Deal", however with the apparent high vacancy rate in evidence, one would imagine we might have received better than cheapest room, as incentive for us to return. So, would we recommend and/or go back, well I'm rather ambivalent. As for the "patio", pretty sub-standard.

Great deal, value for money. Lots of noise outside from other guests which was unfortunate. Room small but had all that was needed. Looks dated and could use freshening up. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming! Restaurant was good. Great location in the water. Would go back.

We had and enjoyable stay. The resort was well maintained with lots of amenities available. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Situated on the ocean we enjoyed the views and walking the trail along the edge of the ocean. Our room had been recently renovated. We will be returning to the Pacific Shores.

Pacific Shores is a great location, love the access to the beach. Staff were great, easy checkin and check out. Rooms had enough space. I think the beds are a bit small for queens. That was the only thing that was a minor glitch. Beds were super comfy.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great pool, hot tub, sauna. Clean and modern room. Only down side was it was quite noisy as we could hear the people in the adjoining room through the door. They were not being particularly noisy, just the design with the door not very soundproof. We would go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pacific Shores, it was too short, I wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and gardens, The outdoor hot tub was a real treat and the walking paths along the oceanfront were very attractive.
Other Comments
Next time we would like to stay there when the bar and restaurant are open and enjoy the beach and water sorts.

Our trip was end of February and there's snow on the ground. All the pathways were clear and salted around the immediate resort. The outdoor hot tub was a hit with the snow covered rocks around the tub. Out of the 60 or so rooms available it was at 50% capacity so it was quite a treat to mix with just a few other families staying here. Both staff we encountered were very good at their jobs. It's a treat to visit this place.
