This is the first time this year we've seen a weeklong Ireland vacation drop to less than $1000 from Chicago -- plus it's for autumn travel, when weather is ideal for exploring and crowds have thinned.

This Aer Lingus Vacation Store seven-night package, which saves as much as $450 on the cost of purchasing components separately, includes:

  • Roundtrip nonstop airfare on Aer Lingus to Dublin from Chicago
  • Seven nights accommodations total in Dublin, Killarney and Limerick
  • Manual shift economy car rental with unlimited mileage
  • Departures on select dates October-November (refer to the calendars on its website)

Make it a nine-night trip and add two nights in Galway for an extra $150 per person.

For an additional $99 per person, receive an upgraded room and dinner in Dublin, daily breakfast in Killarney and Limerick, and admission to the Cliffs of Moher.
