The Deal

Dive into the waters of Hawaii with this scuba experience from Ocean Legends in Honolulu. For $59 per person, uncertified divers will learn how to scuba dive with a full-day Discover Scuba course, boat charter and gear. This experience regularly costs $149 and lasts from 9 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m., during which first-timers will:

• Watch a 40-minute video on diving instruction
• Gear up with all the necessities (mask, fins, suit) provided by Ocean Legends
• Head to the boat and venture out to the open water
• Dive 20 to 40 feet below the surface at two sites: The first, to learn scuba techniques from the PADI-certified instructor; the second, to have a "fun dive" after you've passed the instruction

This experience includes light snacks and two air tanks, and trips are scheduled daily.

Or, for $69, certified divers can go on a guided boat charter with two tanks and gear, regularly $125. Also, a three-day PADI Open Water Scuba certification course with gear is $269, regularly $399.

All three deals include 10% off any purchases made on the day of your experience, including gear, merchandise and future excursions with Ocean Legends, as well as pick-up and drop-off service from any Waikiki hotel.
