The Deal

One Trick Pony Grill & Taproom, which earns a 4-star or better rating from Urbanspoon and TripAdvisor users, is located inside Grand Rapids' oldest-occupied building, part of which was built in 1856. With this Local Deal, two people can sit down at this historic spot and enjoy a three-course dinner for $35, regularly $70.

Grab a table inside, which is decorated with signs from other businesses that have occupied this long-standing space, or dine on the patio and select:

• Any two appetizers, such as Louisiana crab cakes with roasted corn relish and red pepper aioli; or bison sliders topped with barbecue sauce, whiskey-caramelized onions and cheddar cheese

• Two entrees, like penne pasta with chicken, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and pesto cream sauce; or mesquite-rubbed salmon served with rice and daily vegetable (up to $18 each)

• Any two desserts, which change frequently, but may feature strawberry cream pie, mini creme brulee or pineapple upside-down cake

This deal also includes 25% off the purchase of a bottle of wine. One Trick Pony features live music throughout the week, including acoustic music on Thursday.
