The Deal

The San Francisco Chronicle says China Peak Mountain Resort is "quite possibly one of the best-kept ski and boarding secrets in the central Sierra." Travelzoo subscribers can whisk down the slopes this season with lift tickets starting at $35.

Three options are available, offering as much as 40% off the regular cost of lift tickets:

• For $35, get one adult or junior (ages 13 and up) ticket, valid Monday-Friday only (excluding holidays)
• For $40, get one adult or junior ticket valid any day of the week, including holidays (Note: limited number available)
• For $69, get two adult or junior tickets, valid Monday-Friday only (excluding holidays). The tickets can be used by two people on the same day or separate days or by one person on two separate days

China Peak is 65 miles northeast of Fresno at scenic Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. The mountain features seven chairlifts and 1,679 feet of vertical, with a peak at just over 8,700 feet. See here for trail map.
