The Deal

Soar high above the Arizona desert landscape on a sunrise hot air balloon ride from Southern Arizona Balloon Excursions. For $95 per person, regularly $175, this 45- to 90-minute ride offers bird's-eye views of the Catalina and Tucson mountain ranges and includes a post-flight brunch and glass of Champagne.

Riders will ascend up to 3,000 feet in the air for unobstructed, 360-degree views of the surrounding Sonoran desert as the sun rises over the horizon. Pilots will vary altitude throughout the flight, swooping just above treetop-level for up-close views of desert flora and fauna. Southern Arizona Balloon Excursions has been operating flights for 22 years, and all balloons are FAA-certified.

After an hour of airtime, passengers will touch down to a Champagne toast and brunch. Brunch selections include pastries, cheese and crackers, sausage, fruit, coffee, orange juice and apple cider. Riders will go home with a commemorative flight certificate.
