In the past year, the chic Grant Grill Lounge in the AAA 4-Diamond US GRANT hotel has taken the cocktail scene by storm with a number of top accolades, including "Hotel Bar of the Year" from Nightclub & Bar Awards 2012, "Best Cocktails" from San Diego Magazine and a "cocktail trend alert" from Sunset Magazine for having some of the most noteworthy concoctions in the West. Spice up your night at this Gaslamp Quarter hot spot with four cocktails and a shared charcuterie plate for $29, normally $66.

Make it a date night and enjoy two rounds of drinks each from the "His and Hers" summer cocktail menu, created specially for Travelzoo by Grant Grill's head mixologist, Jeff Josenhans:

• Hibiscus Rose: Nolet’s Silver gin, housemade grenadine, hibiscus tea and rose water

• Black Widow: Nolet’s Silver gin, lavender-infused stevia, fresh-pressed lime, fresh egg white and Angostura mist

• Gun Smoke: Bulleit Rye, dash of Ardbeg, hickory-smoked sugar, old-fashioned bitters and soda seltzer water

• Gentleman's Sour: Bulleit Rye, fresh-pressed lemon, aromatized simple syrup, a dash of old-fashioned bitters and wine tannins

This deal also includes a charcuterie plate of cured meats and a selection of artisan cheeses.

Live jazz is featured every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 8-11 p.m.
