The Fine Print

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, May 6, through Sept. 11, 2011. Reservations are required and subject to availability. This deal is not valid on Saturdays. Standard Don Hatch booking conditions apply. All rafters must sign a safety waiver. Rafters must be at least 6 years old or at least 11 years old during high water (mid-May to June). Vouchers are non-transferable. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Tax and gratuity are not included.

The Deal

For the past 75 years, Don Hatch River Expeditions has supplied thrill-seekers with heart-pumping aqua adventure. With today's Local Deal, whitewater raft down the Green River in Eastern Utah and see the spectacular sites of Dinosaur National Monument for $49, regularly $96.

Hit the water on the Split Mountain Canyon day trip between 10:30-11:30 a.m. after a one to one and a half-hour bus ride to Rainbow Park. Each raft hold up to six passengers, plus a trained guide who teaches you how to paddle and navigate. Take in views of the park as you traverse nine miles of river and stop for a deli-style lunch provided by Don Hatch at "Hatch Beach."

After the trip, you'll have a 30-minute bus ride back, ending the total excursion around  3:00-3:30 p.m.
