The Deal

Travelzoo subscribers can take an inflatable kayak for a rafting trip down the Provo River with this Local Deal from Runoff River Adventures, which boasts more than 40 years of outdoor experience. For $15 per person -- half off the regular price -- rent a kayak, which includes all the necessary gear including a helmet and life jacket, and cruise down the Class I rapids.

These gentle rapids are great for all ages and skill sets. Each run takes about two hours to complete, during which you see the impressive sites the Utah Valley has to offer, including Mount Timpanogos and Cascade Mountain. Monday through Saturday, you can select four times during the day to reserve your trip: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. or 5 p.m.

Roundtrip transportation between the parking site at Bridal Veil Falls (see map) and the river is provided.

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Monday, July 16, through Sept. 8, 2012. Not valid for Moonlight Trips. Roundtrip transportation from Bridal Veil Falls (see map), where you park your vehicle, to and from the river's edge is provided. Limit 4 voucher purchases per person; 4 additional vouchers may be purchased as gifts. Reservations are required at least 2 days in advance; subject to availability and weather permitting. Valid Monday-Saturday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. Limited availability on July 23-28 and Aug. 21 - Sept 1. Minimum age for self-guided trips is 6 years old. Must sign rental agreement waiver. The deal cannot be combined with any other offer. Tax, if applicable, is not included.
