The Fine Print

With this deal, you don't have to decide yet when to go. With this deal, purchase a voucher from Travelzoo then call the hotel directly at 800-622-4121 to make a reservation for desired travel dates. Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made seven days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture. Hotel-imposed penalties may apply. Any unused credit will be forfeited upon check-out. This deal cannot be combined with other offers. No cash value. Taxes and gratuity are additional. The Deal

Whisk away to a West Virginia ski resort with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. Washingtonian Magazine says of Canaan Valley Resort that few properties "at twice the price can match the variety of fun at Canaan Valley, a mountain playground on 6,000 acres."

This ski deal, exclusive to Travelzoo subscribers, is available for $99 and knocks almost half off the package price of an overnight stay plus daily breakfast and lift tickets to ski the mountain. Two-night packages for midweek and weekends are also available with the same extras.

The resort offers plenty of winter pursuits for ski experts and ski bunnies alike. The main mountain has 39 slopes for skiers of all levels and snowboarders. For a more relaxed experience, try snowshoeing, snow tubing or ice skating. End the day with a dip in the indoor whirlpool spa and pick from one of many on-property restaurants.

The resort is three hours from Washington, D.C.; northern Virginia; Charleston, W.Va.; and Pittsburgh.
